Aim of the Group
To create friendships, promote general running fitness, preparing runners for 5k,10 & 1/2 Marathon distances through positive coaching and feedback.
Tuesday sessions have 3 groups of running abilities;
Beginner – Will typically walk, jog & run at a distance and level for the group
Intermediate – Runners will take on hill reps, speed sessions, tempo sessions & Yoga
Advanced – Runners will also take on hill reps, speed sessions, tempo sessions & Yoga
All sessions the Jog leader will discuss running techniques
Thursday session have been focusing on the beginner runner
With the first group now completed their couch to 5k a new group has recently just started the new C25k program and the previous group now doing more intermediate group training building up on the 5k distance.
